Fantasy Football: WR Rankings
SeaTown Sports previews all the position groups to get you ready for Fantasy Football season
Wondering what to do in the first five or six rounds of your fantasy drafts? Draft wide receivers. A lot of them.
Tier 1
Tyreek Hill, Dolphins
CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys
Ja’Marr Chase, Bengals
Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions
Justin Jefferson, Vikings
I feel awesome about my team if I have one of these five players. The best tier among fantasy tiers. Unbelievable talent and production here.
Tier 2
AJ Brown, Eagles
Garrett Wilson, Jets
Puka Nacua, Rams
Davante Adams, Raiders
Deebo Samuel, 49ers
Second tiers are usually not this good. But this group is special. I would take all of them above any QBs or TEs and all but 2-3 running backs.
Tier 3
Mike Evans, Bucs
DK Metcalf, Seahawks
Chris Olave, Saints
Nico Collins, Texans
Jaylen Waddle, Dolphins
Cooper Kupp, Rams
This tier is also special and I would be very happy to get any of them (except maybe Evans - that boom or bust quality frustrates me). If I leave my draft with two receivers in my top three tiers, I feel amazing.
Tier 4
Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers
Drake London, Falcons
Marvin Harrison Jr, Cardinals
DJ Moore, Bears
DeVonta Smith, Eagles
Amari Cooper, Browns
This tier makes me extremely nervous. I like all of them and also want no part of any of them. This is the range where I might skip receiver as there are about 25-30 other receivers below who could be as good as this tier.
Tier 5
Tank Dell, Texans
Malik Nabers, Giants
George Pickens, Steelers
Rashee Rice, Chiefs
Do you like to gamble? But when you gamble, you love to put together a 4 team parlay because the payout is tremendous? This is your tier. (Note: Rice may not fit that category but his potential suspension has him parlaying his way to tier 5).
Tier 6
Michael Pittman, Colts
Tee Higgins, Bengals
Terry McClaurin, Commanders
Stefon Diggs, Texans
Calvin Ridley, Titans
Chris Godwin, Bucs
Keenan Allen, Bears
Diontae Johnson, Panthers
Zay Flowers, Ravens
Christian Kirk, Jaguars
The tier of “I just like to feel safe”. Risk scares me. This is your tier.
Tier 7
Jackson Smith-Njigba, Seahawks
Jayden Reed, Packers
I am getting one of these dudes. Both could end up as top 12-15 receivers in fantasy.
Tier 8
Christian Watson, Packers
Brian Thomas Jr, Jaguars
Rome Odunze, Bears
Keon Coleman, Bills
Xavier Worthy, Chiefs
Hollywood Brown, Chiefs
Rashid Shaheed, Saints
Khalil Shakir, Bills
Ja’Lynn Polk, Patriots
Jameson Williams, Lions
Boom or bust. A lot of rookies and big plays guys. Could be starting all year for you or you drop them in week 3.
Tier 9
Deandre Hopkins, Titans
Tyler Lockett, Seahawks
Darnell Mooney, Falcons
Brandin Cooks, Cowboys
Jakobi Myers, Raiders
Josh Palmer, Chargers
Mike Williams, Jets
Ladd McConkey, Chargers
Courtland Sutton, Broncos
Jerry Jeudy, Broncos
Curtis Samuel, Bills
Josh Downs, Colts
Sure.
