I'm surprised Dave Brown only made 1 Pro Bowl, given 62 career interceptions. Football is so quarterback-centered that when you type in his name on Google, you get directed to the failed Giants' quarterback of the same name. Sad that Brown died at just 52 in 2006. Heart attack, apparently.
I guess he'd go into the Hall of Fame as a Yankee, but there aren't going to be a lot of fan bases wanting to own his choice, and maybe that does make a selection problematic right there. Is a Hall of Famer who doesn't have fans a contradiction in terms?

People hated that A-Rod departure. Not sure if public opinion has changed, but I think it's possible.
